YEREVAN. – If off-parliamentary oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) calls for revolution, it would definitely be worthy of welcome, if this revolution is aimed at solving the problems of the nation, parliamentary oppositional Heritage group MP Armen Martirosyan said at a press conference on Thursday.

Regarding the issue of cooperation with the ANC, MP responded that cooperation or discussion of various issues should always be open.

“Cooperation on settling issues, which are of importance and are on the agenda of both sides, should be only welcomed. Previously there were many issues on which Heritage and ANC could have cooperated, while everything changed after ANC shifted its strategy in 2009. Currently, the important issue for both sides is the issue of deepening democracy in the state and fair elections,” MP said and added that ANC has not offered cooperation.

In case it happens, they will discuss it in the party, he added.

In response to whether Martirosyan accepts the way ANC struggles for, in particular, the round day rallies, he stated that any ways are acceptable if they bring outcome and are in accord with the Constitution.

Besides, if ANC calls for revolution, it would definitely be worthy of welcome, if this revolution is aimed at solving the problems of the nation. Moreover, MP excluded collisions as such resources were available in 2008, while currently there are no such resources.
