The Police of Armenia are carrying out a special operation, within the framework of which several persons were brought to the Dilijan city police department, shamshyan.com reported.

At around 11:30pm on July 6, a call was received from the Dilijan Medical Center to the Dilijan Police Department that a young man with stab wounds was brought to this hospital.

The police found out that the injured person is Dilijan resident Albert Harutyunyan, 23.

While the doctors were fighting to save his life, which they succeeded in doing, the Tavush provincial police found out the circumstances of this incident.

Criminal proceedings were launched on charges of attempted murder.

Dilijan police detained Kotayk Province resident Armen S., 20, Gegharkunik Province residents  Samvel G., 21, Ashot Kh., 21, Nver Gh., 22, Karen Vardanyan, 22, Arsen S., 21, Levik P., 21, and Artem M., 18, who registered in Russia.

Also, it was found out that on July 6, while celebrating Karen Vardanyan's birthday at a guest house in Teghut village of Tavush Province, Albert H. and Tavush Province resident Seyran Gh., 14, had had an argument about raising the volume of the music, during which Armen S. had stabbed Albert Harutyunyan with a knife, causing physical injuries.

The police found most of the participants in this incident. Additional investigative measures are being taken to find the other participants.
