YEREVAN. – The number of concerts in Armenia has reduced by approximately 29 percent in the past five years. According to National Statistical Service, there were 499 concerts in the country in 2010, whereas this number was 703 in 2005.   In the case when 227 thousand had attended concerts in Armenia in 2005, this number reduced to 206 thousand in 2010. Around 63 per 1,000 residents attend concerts in the country.     

In line with official statistics, the proceeds from one performance are 106,000 drams ($280 US), as opposed to 70,000 drams ($187) in 2005.
