YEREVAN.- The principle of self-determination is becoming more significant in the international arena, head of Republican parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan told a briefing in the Armenian parliament.
Commenting on French President’s visit, he stressed high level of relations between the states.
“One should not expect notable movement in the Karabakh peace process in the context of this visit. However, on the whole the principle of self-determination has more influence in the international arena,” Sahakyan said.
President of France Nicolas Sarkozy is on a state visit to Armenia within the framework of his trip to South Caucasus.
