YEREVAN. - The Russian Inter RAO UES company, which owns all shares of Electric Network of Armenia company, was considering selling 20 percent of its shares to the French, Zhoghovurd daily writes. But the business deal did not materialize during the formal meeting on September 23.
“The parties came in to sign the deal on that day, but, learning that Armenian oligarchs and senior officials are behind the French, the Russians unexpectedly backed away from the deal,” Zhoghovurd writes.
