YEREVAN. – Trial of American-Armenian businessman Serop Der-Boghossian, who is charged with child molestation, was held on Friday at Lori Region’s Court of First Instance, Hraparak daily writes.The defendant presented a 50-page testimony. “At the end of the trial, prosecutor Aram Amirzadyan gave some details to news reporters. Amirzadyan described the court session as critical. The Court heard Der-Boghossian, but he was not questioned because of time constraints. And did the defendant admit the guilt? ‘He does not deny the facts which he himself recorded, but he makes different comments. He does not consider his actions normal and, in a way, also asks forgiveness.’              

By the way, according to Amirzadyan, the witnesses also include victims who are participants in the sexual activities. Serop Der-Boghossian will be questioned in the next session on October 13. And he first will be questioned by his defenders,” Hraparak writes.
