YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire more than 1,450 times, from September 1 to 30, 2011, at the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces.

In excess of 250 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan were recorded at border of the Republic of Armenia.  

According to data of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, the adversary violated the ceasefire approximately 1,200 times within the mentioned time period. 

During ceasefire violations the Azerbaijani side fired shots through different weaponry, including sniper weaponry, more than 300 times. Armenian Armed Forces strictly adhere to the ceasefire and resort to responsive operations in case of extreme necessity. Armenian Armed Forces fully control the situation at the line of contact with the adversary, MOD Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
