MOSCOW. – Prior to its final Group B match in Euro 2012 qualifiers, Armenian national football squad’s head coach Vardan Minasyan expressed his views on this game, which will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on Tuesday.    

“I would not say we have a 100-percent advantage over the Irish, but we have that potential. One victory can be considered lucky; we now have five victories. If we win in Dublin, I would not deem that an achievement. On Tuesday, we must combine success and other factors. The quality of our game gives hope that Armenia has a good chance.  

We need to factor in the tactical character and mindset of the Irish. They will work rationally; they will consistently defend, and attack where possible,” Minasyan told Sport Express.    

The Armenian national team needs only a victory against Ireland to clinch 2nd place in Group B and go to playoffs to qualify for Euro 2012.
