YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia has done nothing in terms of implementing the President’s promise given to businessmen in April, Alternative Research Center Director Tatul Manaseryan stated during a press conference on Tuesday.   

During his meeting with businessmen, which was held at Armenian Molybdenum Production Company on April 8, 2011, President Serzh Sargsyan had said the following: “If any production with innovative basis is established in the Republic, if a product that is not produced in our Republic today is produced, we, as the state, are prepared to assist with means, and, in the first place, we are prepared to give tax incentives. For example, we are prepared to exempt from profit tax for 3-4 years, postpone the payment of value added tax; we are prepared for other support.”
