YEREVAN. - The public procurement system needs to be restored and the agricultural marked must be overseen, Alternative Research Center Director Tatul Manaseryan stated during a press conference on Tuesday.

In his view, the agricultural markets have speculative groups that can raise prices in a matter of hours. “The Central Bank alone cannot hold back inflation; the Commission for [the Protection of] Economic Competition and the State Revenue Committee likewise must do their part,” Manaseryan noted.
