YEREVAN. – Despite news being spread, proprietor of Akhtala Mine Enrichment Plant, American-Armenian businessman Serop Der-Boghossian, who is charged with child molestation, in the last court session did not consider himself guilty and did not accept the charges, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.
“Der-Boghossian’s defender Givi Hovhanisyan told this to our correspondent, noting that, according to the defense, the re-qualified charge, which envisions 8-15 years in prison, is illegal. The former charge sets out up to two years in prison and Der-Boghossian could have been pardoned,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
