The Ministry of Defense (MoD) Armenia provided information on the health condition of the two soldiers who were wounded in the recent Azerbaijani shooting.

One of the wounded servicemen (Narek Poghosyan) is in stable condition, and the other wounded serviceman is in moderate condition, MoD spokesperson Aram Torosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am on Monday.

"There is no danger to their lives at the moment. Both servicemen are under the supervision of doctors," added Torosyan.

On September 1, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened intense fire in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the areas of Sotk and Norabak villages of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province. As a result, four Armenian servicemen were killed and two others were wounded.

Serviceman Narek Poghosyan, whose heart function was restored as a result of intensive resuscitation efforts by doctors, successfully underwent a complex surgery. He was in critical condition.
