The Statistical Committee of Armenia has publicized its preliminary data of the census conducted in the country in October 2022.

Accordingly, the permanent population of Armenia in 2022 was 2,932,731. Meanwhile, in 2021, it was 3,018,854, and in 2020, it was 3,213,011.

The current population of Armenia in 2022 was 2,689,438. In the meantime, in 2021, that figure was 2,871,771, and in 2020, it was 3,200,594.

The number of the permanent population includes the sum of the indicators of the number of the population permanently residing in Armenia and present and temporarily absent at the time of enumeration.

And the number of the current population includes the sum of the indicators of the number of the population permanently residing in Armenia and present and temporarily present at the time of enumeration.
