YEREVAN. - An anonymous caller informed Kotayk Regional Precinct of Armenia’s Police Force, on Sunday at around 1:15 p.m., that there was a BMW X5 on a dirt road nearby Sevan-Yerevan highway, with a dead body inside the vehicle.
The police squad that arrived on the scene discovered the BMW X5 in whose driver seat found the body of Armen Petrosyan, 31, with a gunshot wound on his temple and his right-hand finger on the trigger of a TT-type pistol. In the car the police officers also discovered a Browning-type pistol, with 53 cartridges, and one fired capsule.
A criminal case is launched on charges of causing a person to commit, or attempt to commit, suicide, and acquiring, selling, possessing, transferring, or bearing illegal firearms, ammunition, cartridges, explosive material, or explosive devices.
The circumstances are being determined, and an investigation is underway, Police Force Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am. informed earlier, Armen Petrosyan was the owner of “Aray” audio-, video-, and household-equipment chain store.
