YEREVAN. – During his visit to Armenia’s Tavush Region on Saturday, PM Tigran Sargsyan found himself in a rather awkward situation, Hraparak daily writes.

“In recent periods, he uses his visits to the regions as [ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA’s PR campaign and, with a special procedure, distributes party cards to new members. But when this ceremony was to commence at Tavush Region at the scheduled hour, it became clear that the cards were missing and this caused an unpleasant situation. According to our information, this was orchestrated from [capital] Yerevan. Some prevented at any cost for the party cards to arrive, so that Tigran Sargsyan would find himself in an awkward situation,” Hraparak writes.
