YEREVA. – According to its trustworthy sources, Armenia’s ruling coalition will hold a session, either this weekend or next week, where coalition member Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) will declare its decision to abandon the coalition, Aravot daily writes. 

“The cause for this step was Armenian President and Chairman of [coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA Serzh Sargsyan’s ultimatum given to PAP on deciding, once and for all, between him and [former President] Robert Kocharyan. To note, RPA is not exerting much effort to refute information on a possible RPA-PAP divorce. To note, session of RPA executive body will be held on Thursday during which, in all possibility, fate of the ruling coalition will be discussed,” Aravot writes.
