MOSCOW. – Central Bank of Russia (CBR) unsuccessfully tries to instigate criminal case on former representative of Petroff bank Board of Directors Tigran Nersisyan. Nersisyan loaned RUR 3.86 billion [$124,507,006] from the bank and disappeared. The bank cannot find him to demand money back, Lenta.ru reports quoting RBK daily.
Nersisyan signed contract of guarantee of RUR 4.2 billion with the bank last summer. The manager did not fulfilled part of his responsibilities. Thus, Mozhaiski city court decided to demand RUR 3.86 billion back. However, the decision is not put into effect as the current whereabouts of Nersisyan is unknown.
CBR claimed to instigate criminal case against Nersisyan but investigators rejected to do it.
