ST. PETERSBURG. - Armenia is greatly interested in signing the free trade zone agreement among CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States)-member countries, and this agreement will contribute to increasing the volume of trade among the countries, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan stated during CIS PMs’ joint conference in Moscow.

“This document signed by us will become a new stimulus for integration processes and further economic growth of our countries…I believe today is a historic day, which proves CIS is moving in the right direction,” Sargsyan noted.

On Wednesday morning, Armenia’s PM paid a visit to his alma mater, the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, where he met with University’s students and faculty, responded to their questions, and delivered a lecture.
