YEREVAN. – If all young men without exception, including sons of oligarchs and ministers, serve in the army, it will be completely different, head of Mhitar Gosh educational center Ashot Bleyan told the journalists on Thursday.

“TV should show how a son of a minister serves in the Army with the others. Then relations between army and society will change. Military units should be open for the society including journalists. And officers should be responsible for every soldier in order not to make a servicemen commit a suicide,” Bleyan said.

Bleyan also believes that the service term should shift into one year, as intensive military courses can be learned in a year.
