YEREVAN. – Armenian vice Prime Minister, head of the сcensus committee Armen Gevorgyan received on Friday head of U.S. Bureau Census Demographer / Conflict Monitoring and Response Officer Oliver Fischer. Head of the Armenian National Statistics Service Stepan Mnatsakanyan was also present at the meeting. 

The sides discussed issues on census held in Armenia, press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Fischer said that U.S. Bureau experts on Census Organization will arrive in Armenia to assist their Armenian colleagues in organizing the work. In his turn Armen Gevorgyan stressed importance of cooperation with the American side in summing up the results. The government cooperates with international organization-donors and different states to get the necessary resources, he added.
