YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police Force received information from the Prisoners’ Hospital Penitentiary that a delivery for an inmate did not reach its destination.      

On the next day, the inmate’s mother reported to the police that, introducing himself at the Penitentiary’s delivery  room as a Penitentiary’s employee and under the pretext of transferring them to the inmate, Samvel Hakhverdyan, 29, received from the prisoner’s mother 2,000 drams ($5.33), a television antenna, and a day lamp, but, abusing the mother’s trust, he took possession of them, Police Force Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
