MOSCOW. – The face-to-face meeting between Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev is underway at Kremlin.
In his opening remarks, President Medvedev said: “This is a special state visit that bespeaks our military relations. At the same time this is a hectic work visit, during which all cooperation topics will be discussed.” Medvedev also added he is delighted to welcome the Armenian guest in Russia’s capital, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s correspondent reported from Moscow.
Serzh Sargsyan agreed with Medvedev, and noted the special nature of the bilateral relations.
The presidents’ private meeting will be followed by extended talks, as a result of which several documents will be signed.
Serzh Sargsyan’s state visit to Russia will end on Tuesday.
