MOSCOW. - Armenian-Russian-Azerbaijani meetings not only preserve fragile peace in the Karabakh conflict zone, but also established some signs of trust, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev on Monday, Armenian News-NEWS.am reports.

Sargsyan thanked the Russian side for the mediation efforts in the Karabakh conflict settlement and close collaboration with the other two OSCE Minsk group mediating states, France and U.S.

Sargsyan said that Medvedev held ten triple sided meetings between Armenian-Russian-Azerbaijani presidents and three declaration signed, which helped to preserve not only fragile peace but also to establish certain signs of trust.

Sargsyan once again stated that Armenia is for soon Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peace settlement on the basis of principles of international right.

“We see the settlement of the conflict, possibility of realization of the fundamental rights and freedoms, conditions for establishment of peace, security and stability,” Sargsyan stated.

Armenian President arrived in Russia on October 23 with the state invitation. Several documents were signed as a result of negotiations. Serzh Sargsyan will meet Russian PM Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
