MOSCOW. – Trade turnover between Armenia and Russia may exceed $1 billion, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev said at Kremlin at the end of the negotiations with the Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian News-NEWS.am reports.

 “We overcome crisis causes in our relations and will reach pre-crisis period where trade turnover may exceed $1 billion,” Russian President said and added that Russian investments in Armenia’s economy exceeds $2.8 billion.

Trade turnover made $995.1 million last year, which is by 10.6% higher than in 2009. Armenian President arrived in Russia on October 23 with the state visit. Several documents were signed as a result of negotiations.
