YEREVAN. – Turkey has not yet formally requested earthquake relief from Armenia, Ministry of Emergency Situations Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“If such request is made, we will definitely inform the media,” the Service told.
Incidentally, another quake was registered in Turkey on Thursday. The tremor was a 5-magnitude, and it hit the Turkish-Iraqi border. The earthquake’s epicenter was approximately 300 km from Armenia, but it was not linked to the quake in Van, Turkey, and it caused no damages in Armenia.
