YEREVAN. – The dispute between Davit Harutyunyan, ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia MP and Chairman of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the parliament, and Czech Airlines ended peacefully, as the airline company paid a handsome amount for the damaged luggage, and Harutyunyan withdrew his court appeal, Hraparak daily writes.

“Harutyunyan had suffered from the airline’s operations several months ago. His baggage arriving in Armenia was damaged. Davit Harutyunyan appealed to the court and demanded compensation from Czech Airlines. The appeal was accepted. It is incomprehensible why Mr. Harutyunyan conceals this information. As this would encourage ordinary people to appeal to the court, in similar events, and defend their rights,” Hraparak daily writes.
