On Friday afternoon, representatives from the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations will transfer from the capital Yerevan via plane to Erzurum, Turkey, the Armenian government’s 40 tons of relief cargo.
The relief comprises over 100 tents, 500 sleeping bags, and more than 7,000 sleeping gears.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, by way of the Turkish Red Crescent and the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre, Armenia on Thursday received the Turkish government’s formal request for earthquake relief.
