YEREVAN. – There are no intentions of violations and suicides to increase, compared to ten years old and earlier Soviet times data, psychologist Samvel Khudoyan told the journalists.
According to him, the impression that the cases of murders and suicides increased is conditioned by the press publications. Information was unavailable in Soviet times, and now it is available and makes impression of increase.
In response to the question whether press publications themselves can bring to suicides, Khudoyan said that information on suicides and violations is not enough for a person to commit it. Suicides are usually preceded by depression, which may be caused by bad friends, as well as religious organizations.
