Armenia’s Consul General in Batumi, Georgia, Garik Israelyan on Thursday met with Batumi’s Mayor, Robert Chkheidze.

The Mayor underscored the Batumi municipal authorities’ readiness to expand cooperation with Armenia’s corresponding administrations and business circles, in the domains of culture, economy, and tourism.    

The interlocutors examined the prospects for developing trade, economic, and cultural ties, the potential for a qualitative progress in tourism, and several other matters of mutual interest.
