YEREVAN. - Aram Kandayan (a.k.a. Kndo), now former member of Armenian President’s Protocol Department, was relieved of his duties around ten days ago, Hraparak daily writes.
To remind, it was because of beating this young man that capital Yerevan’s former Mayor Gagik Beglaryan had to resign from his office.
There were rumors that Kndo was to start working at MFA. Yesterday, the paper asked MFA Public Affairs Department as to Kndo’s position in MFA. But it became clear that he holds no position. And he was dismissed from his office at the Presidential Palace in accordance with the President’s order. “We can assume that, by dismissing him, a gesture was made to Gagik Beglaryan. But, according to certain news, Kandayan, who had accompanied the President during his US visit, had committed for a severe violation of protocol, and this became the reason for dismissal,” Hraparak writes.
