YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday received Ambassador Sergey Kapinos, Head of OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Office in Yerevan, in connection with the ending of the officials’ mission in Armenia. 

President Sargsyan thanked Ambassador Kapinos for the productive activities and collaboration during his tenure. Sargsyan underscored OSCE Yerevan Office’s programs that were carried out in Armenia, and, in the President’s words, these programs are a substantial assistance to the Armenian government’s programs, and they contribute to the country’s reforms, Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

In his turn, Head of OSCE mission in Armenia thanked the President for his assistance rendered to him throughout his term in office, and for manifesting political will toward the implementation of programs in the public administration system, and in several other domains, and toward the promotion of reforms.   

Also, President Sargsyan awarded the Mkhitar Gosh Medal to Sergey Kapinos, for his active engagement in spreading and strengthening OSCE principles and values in Armenia.
