STEPANAKERT. – The OSCE regular monitoring on the contact line between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces in the direction of Askeran region held on Friday ran without incidents.

Coordinator of the OSCE Office Imre Palatinus (Hungary), Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria), Marius Puodziunas (Lithuania) conducted the monitoring from Karabakh positions, Karabakh MOD press service informs Armenia News-NEWS.am.

On the part of Azerbaijan the monitoring was officiated by field assistants of the Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman Antal Herdich  (Hungary) and William Prior (UK).

No cases of ceasefire violation were registered. However, the Azerbaijani side did not lead the OSCE mission to the earlier agreed point of its front-line, as a result it was conducted from a farther distance.

The mission was accompanied by representatives of NKR Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.
