YEREVAN. - Armenian Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Arthur Petrosyan, denied the media news of his possible resignation.
“So you say they have started packing my belongings. They can say different things, but not everything can correspond to reality, and something else is simply a fantasy. Had they packed my belongings without me, I would have noticed,” Petrosyan said.
In his words, that news is unfounded. “I don’t know where it came from, and how. Perhaps [because] I was on a business trip, for several days, or was absent from the [ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia] Party’s (PAP) meeting, after which they began assuming that I would be dismissed soon,” Petrosyan noted.
He categorically denied the news that the decision for his dismissal was reached by PAP Chairman, Gagik Tsarukyan. “We came with a united team, [and] we will go as such,” the Minister stated.
