YEREVAN. – The knowledge of those who criticize Armenian Heritage Party is suspicious, head of the Heritage parliament group Stepan Safaryan said at a press conference on Friday commenting on the statements that the party has no opportunities to succeed in the upcoming elections.

The MP does not think it serious to forecast the results of upcoming parliament elections by watching TV.

“Many people try to be political technologists, while understand nothing of it. We have always heard those forecasts, which are baseless,” MP said and added that the recent political processes on the contrary have strengthened the role of the party.

A part of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia is discontented by the changes within the party, which weakens it. Moreover, incessant rumors that Prosperous Party of Armenia (PPA) is leaving the coalition and lack of PPA’s real steps also affect negatively the ruling party. Regarding oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC), rallies and statements testify that ANC reduced its position as well, Safaryan stated.
