YEREVAN. - Armenia’s vice prime-minister and Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan met with marshal of Polish Wielkopolska Voivodeship, Bureau member of the Assembly of European Regions Marek Wozniak.

The parties discussed the possible cooperation of Wielkopolska Voivodeship (one of Poland’s largest regions with the center in Poznan) and Armenia, the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Wozniak mentioned that international partnership is important for the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, and currently it cooperates with several regions. He added that he is also interested in a partnership with Armenia.

Armenia’s deputy PM welcomed that intention and added that Armenia also gives importance to decentralized cooperation. The two sides already have some experience in cooperation.

Armenia’s Lori and Tavush regions are also members of the Assembly of European Regions which will enable the establishment of cooperation.
