YEREVAN. – Levon Sargsyan (a.k.a. Lyov of the flour mill), who is considered an oligarch and is an MP from the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia, is preparing to leave the country, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily writes.        

“According to the rumors, he is currently selling his properties, specifically his real estate, in Armenia. Furthermore, we were informed recently that Levon Sargsyan had taken large loans from banks and now some difficulties have arisen in paying back those loans. In all possibility, [President] Serzh Sargsyan has stopped liking Levon Sargsyan like before, and this at the very least means ‘Lyov of the flour mill’ will no longer be represented at the parliament. And concerning the rumors about him leaving Armenia, according to our information, he is preparing to stay in a European country,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
