YEREVAN. - Culture is the key for development of relations between Armenia and Egypt, said Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia Mohamed Alaaeldin Saad Elleissy at the opening of Art of Egypt exhibition in the National Gallery of Armenia on Saturday.

“Culture is the force leading all other spheres. We hope that the series of cultural events held within the framework of Egyptian days in Armenia will have the same success as the Armenian days in Egypt last year,” he said.

After presentation of poems of the Adviser to the Minister of Culture of Egypt, poet Hussam Nassar, an exhibition of photographs and painting of renowned Egyptian caricaturist of Armenian decent Alexander Sarukhan opened in the National Gallery of Armenia.
