YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Rescue Service received a call, on Sunday, informing of a traffic jam, due to heavy snowfall and snowstorm, at Sisian-Goris highway. 

It became clear that the traffic jam was nearby 10th kilometer of the road, Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

A team from the Service’s Vayots Dzor Regional Department, along with s salt truck from Vayk city, headed to the scene of the incident, where there was a 54-vehicle pile-up.

The salt truck arrived at the scene while scattering salt, after which the vehicles descended. 

Also, two tractors from Sarnakunk village and one from Saravan village carried out activities on location.
