YEREVAN. - Police colonel Vardan Yeghiazaryan was appointed Chief of Armenian Police Staff under the decree of the Chief of Police, Lieutenant-General Vladimir Gasparyan. Yeghiazaryan left the position of the Head of National Bureau of Interpol, police public relations department told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

Former Chief of Police Staff Edward Ghazaryan was dismissed after passing the permissible working age. He took up the post of adviser to the police chief of Police.
