Two Armenian citizens were detained by policemen of Russia’s Saint Petersburg for an attempt to place anti-government banner in front of the Finland station during the rally of Communist party on Monday.

“Armenia’s citizens Baghdasaryan and Ohanyan were detained for the attempt to place anti-government banner,” source close to law enforcers told Interfax agency.

About one thousand people participated in rallies and marches dedicated to anniversary of the October revolution.
