YEREVAN. - U.S. dollar is rapidly going up on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange.  On Tuesday the exchange rate made AMD 385.2/$1 increasing by 2.72 AMD or 0.71%. It is not only the record exchange rate but also the major slump over the year.

Such slump registered over the recent days requires thorough examination of the situation in the market. Most likely the time has come for the Central Bank of Aremnia (CBA) to interfere with the exchange rate. Last week CBA introduced a $9.3 million intervention on stock exchange.

Sales totaled $ 4.8 million.
