YEREVAN. - Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan on Wednesday dismissed the deputy head of Erebuni police department Mihran Keshishyan. Arsen Aghoyan from Yerevan city police took over the position, police press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that Keshishyan is suspected in bribery. He allegedly asked for $13 thousand for releasing a man from criminal liability.
The court decided to detain Keshishyan as a preventive measure, however he escaped from the investigation and remains hidden.
