BAKU. - Ukraine is prepared to assist in the Karabakh peace talks within the framework of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Minsk Group, specifically in the context of Ukraine’s OSCE presidency in 2013. This was stated by the Ukrainian Supreme Rada (Parliament) Speaker Vladimir Litvin, during his meeting in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with the Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker, Ogtay Asadov, Interfax-Azerbaijan informed.     

“Ukraine supports Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and defends the Nagorno-Karabakh problem’s exclusively peaceful resolution method, based on the norms and principles of international law,” Vladimir Litvin said.
