YEREVAN. – People’s Party leader Tigran Karapetyan is a bit disappointed after having participated in the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) rally on October 28, he told the journalists on Thursday. He stated that he had participated in the rally to be with people and not with the ANC. However, the ANC leaders did not even mention that Karapetyan was present at the rally in order not to give an importance to his presence.

“I saw many familiar people who had previously participated in our rallies. Thus, there are no fanatic people but a fanatic team. ANC struggles, which is better. But I did not like that the rally had a scenario,” Karapetyan said adding he did not like the way Hrant Bagratyan criticized the authorities.

“I believe that the struggle against authorities should be for justice and not for errors. The more economic steps are criticized, the more justice is moved afar,” People’s Party leader stated.

According to him, opposition powers should understand they are losing trust of people if act separately. Opposition should struggle not for power but the well-being of people. Whereas people should not be inactive, otherwise they will be slaves.

Tigran Karapetyan said that he intends to participate in the ANC rally scheduled for November 28 as well.
