The half-burnt body of a young woman, who was found in Armenia’s Ararat Region, is identified.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, half-burnt body of a 20-25-year-old woman was found, on October 13, at Vosketap village of Ararat Region. The woman had an average figure and was 150-160 cm tall. Her hair was dark brown and 25-35 cm in length. Her clothes were burnt, but her iron hairpin was preserved.

In accordance with the genetic testing result, which was received on Wednesday, the woman is Alvina Hovhannisyan, 23, who is registered in capital Yerevan; she was declared missing on October 13 and being searched by the police.    

The investigation is continuing within the framework of the criminal case launched on murder charges.
