YEREVAN. - Belgian “Aqua planning SA” company is planning to expand production in Armenia, the company’s founder Patrick Trulemans told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The company is the founder and one of the main investors in OJSC Dimitry company, founded in 2004 and engaged in lobster and fish export from Armenia.

"We buy lobsters from Armenia and import them into Belgium. The main difficulties are connected with the logistics: there are no direct flights from Armenia and we have to take transit flights which creates additional problems for the export of live animals," said the Belgian businessman. According to him, by the end 2011 the company would buy around 200 tons of live lobsters. The possibility of exporting boiled crabs is under discussion.
