YEREVAN. - Arman Kirakosyan, Armenia’s newly appointed Permanent Representative at UN, presented, in Vienna on Thursday, FM Edward Nalbandian’s letter to that effect to Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), MFA  informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

The Director General welcomed Ambassador Kirakosyan and expressed his satisfaction over Armenia’s cooperation with IAEA. He also reflected on IAEA’s joint projects with Armenia and other matters of mutual interest.    

In his turn, Ambassador Kirakosyan thanked for the welcome and highly evaluated the Agency’s cooperation with Armenia. The Ambassador pointed to Armenia’s joint technical cooperation programs with IAEA and construction of the country’s new reactor.
