YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Austria, Arman Kirakosyan, on Wednesday presented his credentials to Austrian President Heinz Fischer.
The President expressed a satisfaction with the development of Armenian-Austrian relations. Stressing the high-level political dialogue between the two countries, Fischer underscored the economic relations and the need to make them more active, MFA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In his turn, Ambassador Kirakosyan noted that Armenia highly evaluates the current level of Armenian-Austrian relations and gives an emphasis to Austria’s balanced approach toward the South Caucasus region. Armenia’s Ambassador also reflected on activities of the Armenian-Austrian Inter-Governmental Committee and cooperation between the development agencies of both countries.
The interlocutors also examined the cooperation within international organizations, and the security and stability in the South Caucasus.
