YEREVAN. – Members of the ruling coalition should not violate coalition principles, MP from Republican Party Hamlet Harutyunyan told journalists on Friday.

The remark came in response to statement voiced by his coalition colleague, member of Prosperous Armenia Party Vardan Bostanjyan who said his party can register greater support under equal conditions.

“I cannot understand how coalition partners can speak about ‘equal’ or ‘unequal’ conditions during elections. It means some of them doubt the elections will be fair. Those voicing such statements are violating principles of the coalition. The Republican Party has never counted future votes or hinted at ‘unequal’ conditions, we never accept it,” he said.
