YEREVAN. - The Governor of Armenia’s Ararat region Edik Barseghyan learned about his dismissal from media. No official ever told him about it, the Governor told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Asked whether the authorities are satisfied with his activities, Barseghyan suggested to address the question to the authorities themselves. The official called irrelevant the rumors about the chairman of Armenian Youth Center Andranik Nikoghosyan being his possible contender for current position.

Barseghyan knows Andranik Nikoghosyan.

"I know he lives in Ashtarak, a decent man," he said, adding that he did not have any conflict with Andranik Nikogosyan and will never have.
